The prize, awarded in 2000, was established by engineer Giulio Baruffaldi (who died in 2017), antiquarian and art lover, founder and president since the seventies of the ‘900 Cultural Center “La Loggia” – Center of Residence for artists of Monteridolfi (Florence) for contemporary art. The prize consisted in the hospitality of two artists at the farm “La Loggia” who had to produce a work for the Cultural Center.
