Gold medal with diploma from the Autonomous Tourist Board of Caltagirone

In 1997, the Autonomous Tourist Board of Caltagirone (Catania) won a gold medal for a work that would be part of the “Wall of Wonders”, the wall that surrounds the town hall of the city. It was being built under the artistic direction of Ugo La Pietra. The artist who won the prize was also offered the opportunity to create a work at a ceramic workshop in Caltagirone, also to be placed in the wall.
