Materia e tecnica: Stoneware clay banded on the lip with porcelain slip; the top half was spray glazed with high lime semi-matt glaze. Animate and inanimate objects (a model's hands, a bottle and weeds) were arranged on the surface before a light dust of indigenous copper ore was sifted over them.

Tecnica: the platter was single fired with sump oil to 1300 °C in strong reduction
