Clay is a simple and honest material. It is the most important source of my ideas. The forms I create are physical representations of my imagination. By using lines and shapes, I create paintings on the surface of the clay. I actively respond to the pieces I create, finding ideas for images while I work on them. My work integrates memories of ornaments and color moods, and being able to work with the diverse material of clay gives me the greatest possible freedom.
