Figures from Royal Dux are known world wide. They have successfuly represented Czech Republic among others in expo 67. There is no doubt that figures creation and recreation is very well known process in the field of artistic porcelain. Our collection of three figures are trying to take a part in a visual dialog and question their role in their current context. Objects are neither painted nor glased so the cold mat surface places them out of time with their frozen look. Soldier beatlles on the figures bodies may represent a new life accuring on a dusty history or a final nostalgical stamp of disappearing traces of great traditions.
