While ago I saw the? Elephant’s corpse was seen to be lying in the wide earth in a certain photograph? It’s looks internal organs has already rotted away, covers the bone only by the epidermal. .The one? Had given the life, had been moving became what nothing but lies there. And, it disappears with the time passage? It is hundred million how many, lives of the living thing that are, and cycles of the death.

Could we return to the soil occasionally like the elephant that exists in the photograph? It is not, treated becoming of a lot of people who live in the contemporary society after it dies the thing as a person, and the appearance remains in shape as a grave. When I saw the elephant in the photographe, It was felt that man alone did not exist in the natural cycle, even though the elephant exsists on the same earth. We think about things by separating man and the animal (living things other than man). It is an idea of which low organisms the assumption of man to the basis, and the only animals of the higher orders are other living things. However, will it be really so? Isn’t man who spends the life that deviated since the natural cycle those in the natural world who drop out? When the image in the photograph was seen, I had such a doubt.

However, man is one part in the ring of a lot of lives and the deaths that exist on the earth (cycle) as well as other living things. Everyone recognizes this fact. I would like to recognize the fact that I am the same person as other living things again assuming that it lives on the earth.

In this work, it becomes only the bone and a skin from such a desire like the elephant that exists in the photograph, and the production of the appearance to disappear in the soil as the self-portrait.
