Work Status: restituita

The challenge of creating in porcelain has inspiered me to explore and develop a personal style of working that blends intuition and high technical skills. I m sensitive to porcelain’s receptivity and restrict premeditated definition of form. The whole process is that of a slow seduction. However, the intellectual preoccupation with the visual elements such as form and relationship within the form remain at the core. Similarly, natural forms, the intrigue of folds and layers, the play of light and shadow reiterating the importance of porcelain’s translucent qualities, are the major references in my work, rather than the issues of the human condition or any social comment. Thus the work is peacefuf requiring thoughtfulness and feeling for the environment in which the sensual is of prime importance.
