Future Archeologies

Questa installazione è composta da 200 mattoni di terracotta stampati in 3D, realizzati con la pregiata argilla rossa di Faenza. In contrasto con la muratura tradizionale, questi mattoni hanno una consistenza femminile che richiama la forma del cesto e si impilano in una struttura sinuosa.

This installation is composed of 200 simple 3D-printed earthenware bricks that can be stacked in different configurations. They are made of the beautiful soft red clay from Faenza. In contrast to traditional masonry, these bricks have a feminine, lacy texture reminiscent of a basket or fabric, and stack into a sinuous form.
