Tecnica: L'opera è stata costruita massicciamente con argilla chamotte bianca fine e successivamente scavata. Dopo la cottura in biscotto, le parti sono state smaltate con diversi smalti, terra sigillata e sottosmalto. (Lo smalto nero è uno smalto a ciottoli che suggerisce che sono usciti dal fuoco. Il verde sottolinea la battaglia di Greta per un clima migliore. La terra sigillata bianca rappresenta l'innocenza e la purezza). La seconda cottura è avvenuta a 1050 gradi Celsius. I pezzi sono stati assemblati e montati su un palco di legno. Per la testa del cavallo bianco ho realizzato una cavezza di corda nera con cui viene trascinato da Pippi/Greta. The work was built massive from fine white firing chamotte clay and hollowed out later. After biscuit firing the parts were glazed with different glazes, terra sigillata and underglaze. (The black glaze is a cobblestone glaze which suggests that they stepped out of the fire. Green emphasizes Greta's battle for a better climate. The white terra sigillata stands for innocence and purity.) The second firing was on 1050 degrees Celsius. The parts are assembled and mounted on a wooden stage. I made a halter of black rope for the head of White horse whith which he is dragged along by Pippi/Greta.

L’installazione mostra due eroine svedesi fuse in un’unica immagine: Pippi Calzelunghe e Greta Thunberg. La prima è una ragazza anticonformista che cresce in una società ottimista e libera. Greta vive in una società di grandi questioni sociali. Qui è accompagnata dai suoi fedeli animali, la scimmia Mr. Nilsson e il suo cavallo bianco, paladina del nostro clima.
The installation shows two Swedish heroines in one image: Pippi Longstocking and Greta Thunberg. Pippi is a fearless, maverick girl who grows up in a society of optimism and freedom. Greta lives in a society of major social issues. Accompanied by her faithful animals, the monkey Mr. Nilsson and her White horse, she bravely steps forward as a champion for our climate.
