L’opera si basa sui “Nove canti” di Chu Ci: i Fantasmi di montagna, la storia di un fantasma che incontra il suo amato tra i monti, facendo emergere un senso di “unità tra gli uomini e gli dei” attraverso simboli di buon auspicio.

The work is based on Chu Ci’s ‘Nine Songs’: the Mountain Ghosts, the story of a ghost who meets his beloved in the mountains, bringing out a sense of ‘unity between men and the gods’ through auspicious symbols.
