Title: Mon Bonheur B Megastructures were built throughout the history of mankind by the common man. The sculpture ” Mon Bonheur B” is a metaphor for draining the energy from this common man like an ever ongoing pumpjack. The CCTV building of architect Rem Koolhaas in Beijing is an example of government control of all energy from the average population. People reduced to an algorithm. “Mon Bonheur B” reminds us of a sphinx as an everlasting witness of a modern era.
