The snowmen are remnants from my childhood. Growing up in the rural Indiana, snowmen were a constant visual image during the winter months. I use the snowman image for its reference to my childhood but also for its direct kitsch reference. The linking together of the snowmen relates to the promiscuity associated with gay men and that the word monogamous is not in their vocabulary. I wanted to incorporate my interest of sexuality with my love of kitsch.
