“Toso” is the series of vessels using the broken object with client’s memories as a material of the glaze.
Specifically, objects got from clients is powdered in whole, and mixed into white color base-glaze as a colorant. There emerges unique color and matiere as a result of the color reaction of various minerals contained within the object.
These vessels will be juxtaposed to the photograph of original object in the exhibition.
I intended to express a concept of “materialistic reincarnation”.
